These Terms and Conditions govern your use of PAYATE QR (https://qr.payate.com/), part of the PAYATE network. By using the site you agree to these terms.

1. The service

PAYATE QR provides a free online QR code generator and QR code scanner, plus related guides. The tools run in your browser and are provided free of charge.

2. Your use of the tools

  • You may create QR codes for personal and commercial purposes, without attribution.
  • You are solely responsible for the content you encode and for how you use, print and distribute your QR codes.
  • You must not use the tools to create QR codes that link to phishing, malware, scams, illegal content or content that infringes the rights of others.
  • Always test your QR code on several devices before printing or publishing it.

3. No warranty

The tools are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. We work hard to generate standard-compliant codes, but we do not guarantee that every code will scan on every device, in every printing condition or with every design choice (colors, logos, styles).

4. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PAYATE is not liable for any loss or damage — including printing costs, lost sales or data loss — arising from the use of, or inability to use, the site or QR codes created with it.

5. Third-party services

QR codes may open third-party services such as WhatsApp, Telegram, PayPal, Zoom, Skype, Google Maps or Bitcoin wallets. Those services have their own terms. PAYATE is not affiliated with or endorsed by them.

6. Intellectual property

The site design, text and code belong to PAYATE. The QR codes you generate belong to you. “QR Code” is a registered trademark of DENSO WAVE INCORPORATED.

7. Advertising

The site is funded by advertising served by Google AdSense. See our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

8. Changes
